The EU AI Act requires machine-readable marking of AI-generated content, and the grandfathering period ends December 2. YouTube is already labeling songs "created primarily using generative AI" — and most catalogs have no labels at all. Run this free 5-point self-check on your public catalog before a market-surveillance authority does it for you. No signup, nothing installed.
Do your YouTube videos carry AI-content labels? Open your 5 most-viewed AI-assisted videos and check for YouTube's AI-content label. The platform checks; the regulator will too.
Are your TikToks tagged "AI-generated"? Scroll your brand's TikTok grid. Every AI-assisted clip needs the AI-generated tag — a caption hashtag doesn't count.
Does your Instagram show "Made with AI"? Check your Reels and branded posts. Meta labels AI-made content — if the label isn't there, the pipeline isn't set.
Do your files carry C2PA content credentials? Download one of your published images and inspect it for an embedded C2PA manifest — the tamper-evident provenance record the Act points to.
Do you have an inventory of what's AI-generated? If a regulator asks tomorrow which assets are AI-assisted and which labels they carry, can you show a dated record?
This page covered the 5 checks. DisclosureGuard scans your public catalog for missing AI labels, flags the gaps, and gives per-platform fix guidance.
